Deleted user with checked out files. Now what?

    We have a couple of files that are checked out for edit to users who have been deleted. (I know, I know ....)

    How best to proceed from here?

    Hi Ian,

    Since the user who had checked out the files no longer exists, the easiest way to unlock the resources is to delete the related TFS Workspace.

    Using the tf command-line tool, you can run the following: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/54dkh0y3.aspx and it should take care of the problem.
